I started doing nails about 2 years ago. I have always had problems with retention and like it's taught in this video there can be so many things that can cause it. It's so hard narrowing down what can cause it with each client. I feel so much more confident going forward tackling retention issues with my clients. Without this course it has just been trial and error to see what may work for my clients but very little understanding to why. It was so helpful having the chemicals used in gels broken down and I feel like that's a subject that even in todays age isn't discussed enough. Again I could not recommend this course enough.

Just completed this online training and I learnt more about nail heath and how we get hema alllergies than I did in a 4 day nail course. It just makes so much sense! I feel equipped with the knowledge to treat nail clients and understand why and how to treat problem lifting. The application video and technique it a game changer! I would highly recommend this tutorial.

As a nail tech of 8 years I honestly wasn’t sure if I’d have many “ah hah!” moments but WOW. I am humbled by all of the info I learned. I feel refreshed and hopeful to continue serving my clients. I’m actually excited to see my “problematic “ clients to get them to have successful retention. Thank you so much!

I am very new to the nail tech world having qualified in August. I'm slowly building clients and have had a handful with continual lifting - regardless of what I have tried. Then there are the rest who's nails don't budge with just the basic gel polish application. The ones which don't budge, I have realised, are the ones who's nails are healthy and the ones with lifting have damage, pick the gel off, have jobs which can affect the product retention and don't use cuticle oil. The lifting really affected my confidence and I became filled with self doubt and pulled away from advertising my business because I was blaming my application for the issues. There were so many "light bulb moments" while I was watching this course with regards to why these clients are experiencing regular lifting and the techniques you have shared are fantastic. I have gained confidence and I feel ready to get my business back out there and educate my clients with why lifting happens and the importance of looking after their nails! Thanks so much for such an in depth course covering lifting, it really is fantastic.

Diana... FANTASTIC COURSE ! This course has shown me EXACTLY where I was going wrong with my clients getting lifting ! Although my retention is good on most clients, they come back with lifting around the cuticle. It has also shown me where I was going wrong with bulky application with builder gel !
